There you are chilling on the couch after dinner ready to wind down for the evening and maybe watch a little TV when he asks you the infamous question you were hoping he wouldn’t….”So, do you want to have sex?”.
You pause for a moment, feeling both a sense of obligation and a looming dread.
Maybe you cave in and go along with things just to keep him happy (you’ve been faking it for long enough now, this shouldn’t be any different….)
Or maybe you default to the famous one liner: “I’m too tired tonight how about tomorrow?” (which you know you don’t really mean, because, well, we all know, tomorrow….. never….. happens……)
Or perhaps you go direct and just give him the straight-out rejection, but then you secretly feel bad about it or wonder why you can’t seem to get your body to just do what you want it to do on demand. Why does this have to be so hard? What is wrong with me? Why can’t I just want it at the same time as he does? Things would be so much easier if only….if only….if only……”
I understand your plight. I really do. I was there once myself so I get it.
And it is this exact issue-- this myth of female low sexual desire and the whole debacle of “desire discrepancy” that so often eats away at otherwise perfectly harmonious relationships----that inspired me to become a sex therapist and to become the founder of The Pathway to Pleasure Collective.
Because you know what? There is a different way forward.
A better way.
A more pleasurable way.
Now, let me ask you this:

This workshop will be engaging and experiential. There will be numerous partnered practices that involve verbal sharing while learning through the body’s sense and the body’s somatic messages.
If you will be attending the workshop solo or without an intimate partner, please be prepared to be partnered with another individual in the class and be ok with personal sharing and being a bit vulnerable with a stranger. We do our best to make this space safe enough for this kind of exploration.
Couples who attend the workshop together will remain partnered with one another for the entire two-hour workshop. Be prepared to be vulnerable and to have new experiences together. We do our best to make this space safe enough for this kind of exploration.
You Can Keep Your Clothes On (and your hat too if you like!)
And just because I know you are wondering……The answer is no, there will be absolutely no nudity or sexual touching of any kind in this class (please keep your clothes on folks!).
